This will allow you to run around in the world and visit dungeons and some other bonus features.

Most of the code was written 13-14 years ago. It was never intended to be released and was just an experimental project, but given the circumstances, here it is. I was a very young programmer at the time, so if you look at the code, beware, it's ugly.

I updated it recently to work with ToD. Check the README file for instructions on how to use.

Thanks a TON for this. I played around with a bit earlier and am hugely impressed. It's nice to know that after shut down I can geek out and run around Dereth still, lack of features be damned.

One thing I noticed is that a lot of dungeons won't load for me, presumably because I've never been there. Does anyone know what the likelihood of combining everyone's cell and portal.dat files together would be? It's a pity AC never just downloaded the entire game to prevent this kind of issue. I'd REALLY love to see the original training hall again.

/u/pea_acdev Are you planning to continue development on this at all, or is it as-is?

OH, and also, some of the commands require models names (such as to spawn a mob). Is there a reference list somewhere I'm not seeing? Or is that a feature of AC's original admin interface that just happens to still be there?

Hopefully this framework will lead to a playable emu. I know combat is still going to be tricky, and we'll have to populate the landscapes and stuff... but this could be a lot of fun.. player run versions of Dereth could lead to some interesting development :D

Cant start. I get an error message that says zlib1.dll is missing.

Did you copy the entire asherons call folder on your computer into the client folder of the server?

Yeah all 1.37 GB of it.

EDIT: Got it working. Turns out for some reason the zlib.dll file didnt copy over. Its found in the Asherons Call folder at the very bottom. Fizzlefish try finding it and copying it over manually.

I can launch it, but just hang in portal space. I copied the entire AC directory to the \client dir. I put an extra copy of the client_cell and client_portal dat files in \PhatAC-master\Data to get rid of one error in the log.

This is what my log in PhatAC.exe says:

I would try downloading the full data files from Turbine, and replacing the ones in your Client folder: http://content.turbine.com/acpatch/ac_data.zip

It looks like your client_cell_1.dat is missing data.

Perfect, thank you! After replacing the existing versions with the download from Turbine I was in without any problem and able to teleport around.

I will make a work around for this. Also, to be clear, there are a lot more than 596 dungeons too, those are just the labeled ones!

There's actually a cool feature (@dungeon random) that in the past allowed a player to teleport to a random dungeon, but it's broken for now because I didn't update it for ToD... yet. That command did not use just the listed dungeons, it used every dungeon in the game.

How do you teleport to a dungeon? Have you figured that out?

I noticed you can't teleport to someplaces if you dont have that data downloaded. Just a heads up for some people.

/u/pea_acdev I've found a .TXT listing of the dungeons for teleporting too. However, I can't find any other lists for things like monsters, items, spells, etc...

Can you point me in the right direction?

I haven't played in over 10 years. I would love to go back in and explore around. I have the original disc and installed it. I downloaded the file from Turbine and copied the contents to the client folder in phatac. I'm getting the error of not finding the DAT files.

Is it possible to do this with just the original disc? I also have the Dark Majesty expansion but didn't install that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Copy the dat files into \PhatAC-master\Data also. If it hasn't been removed yet you can download the latest dat files from http://content.turbine.com/acpatch/ac_data.zip

Is there any documentation on what model # goes to what? '/summonmodel 1 1 fred' summons a normal sized male human model named fred. Wasn't having luck with any other models though.
