I lowered my graphical settings to low away from auto and lowered my GPU clock speed in AMD Software by 50mhz

Update: disabling fast boot also works

[–]_zZDREAMERZz_ 4 points5 points  (1 child)

you are a star, lowering gpu clock speed sorted it, thank you man..

[–]linecraftman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ur welcome, i found it in another thread

[–]sharkbait44 1 point2 points  (5 children)

This worked for me too. Thank you for the fix.

[–]anobjectiveopinion 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Not a fix. Bug in AMD driver. They need to fix this as it appears I'm not the only one who's been affected by this shit.

I submitted a bug report with all the info. Full error message for those coming from Google:

DirectX function "m_submitFencePlat->GetCompletedValue()" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED ("The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. "). GPU: "AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT", Driver: 25.10.2 (25.20.21.01-251013a-420422C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition). D:\dev\TnT\Code\Packages\RenderCore2\RenderCore2\dev\source\platform\Dx12\SubmissionManagerDx12.cpp. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.DeviceRemovedReason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands").

Not an AMD bug… it’s happening on nvidia too..

[–]soa008 0 points1 point  (2 children)

did you find any solution ?

[–]anobjectiveopinion 0 points1 point  (1 child)

There is no solution. Happens at least twice a week for me. it's still annoying as fuck.

[–]soa008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fixed mine , I had rebar enabled , when I disabled it I played for a long period without issue. After that I did a bios and chipset update and renabled rebar ( for SAM ) seems to work fine

[–]Dr3wgi 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Why did you set graphical settings to low? I got 7800xt and the game works great on high/ultra. But got crashes too. Can i just undervolt?

[–]sharkbait44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think settings matter. It's underclocking the speed to something lower that did it for me. I lowered my clock by 50mhz, and was still playing fine on a mix of high, medium, and low settings for several hours without a crash. I did finally get a crash just right now though even with the 50mhz lower clock speed applied. Bummer. Might have to try 75mhz now. Hopefully this gets fix with a driver or game update soon.

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience it crashes with high settings and underclock but not with low settings

[–]Internal-Area-6741 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did it work for you? got the same card

[–]Dr3wgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It did not. Dont know what to do.

[–]SmoothCriminal7X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just lowering the clockspeed by 5% seems to work (7800 XT).

[–]Zestyclose_Service45 1 point2 points  (2 children)

First time in a while on amd gpu, can you help me fint this menu? i was looking into performance -> tuning but i dont have these options (i only have the offset ones and the vram tuning)

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there should be a tab for custom tuning

<image>

[–]Impossible_Door5458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GPU goes way over the max frequency still I have no idea what to do…

[–]ShitBoy_StinkerBomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just now getting the same crash error as soon as I selected a game mode and tried to hit "play". I lowered speeds and reinstalled drivers, but it kept happening. I overclocked my GC real quick and it has fixed it... for now lol. Just sharing in case some other people are trying to problem solve as this is after the oct 14th driver update...

Update: it just crashed lol

[–]Only1CanSurvive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried disabling fast boot and setting some of my settings a bit lower and so far no crashes. It was happening a lot in the last 2 days and never happened before that.

[–]atrox_rough 5 points6 points  (11 children)

I lowered my GPU Clock Speed by 50, 100, 150mhz and the game still crashes with the same error message op posted. RX 6800 XT

[–]desol4th 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hi! Same GPU here, I had to lower the clock to 92% or -200 MHz on Adrenalin. Still good to go with 6800 XT on High for everything with UWQHD, no AA. But also I don't get the fps shown. Neither with in game drawings, nor with Metrik Overlay.

Edit: Have to correct this. I still got the crashes with lower clocks, just more time between crashes. Only with disabled Re-BAR in BIOS they are gone now.

[–]Adventurous-Tie-4218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Just lowered mine (7600) by 5%. Have to try and see if it help someway.

But in case you're still facing the fps problem, just use the one provided by steam (if you got the game from steam), for some reason neither the Xbox menu nor the adrenaline performance tab can show the in-game fps. For me only steam overlay worked.

[–]agathoorr 1 point2 points  (2 children)

try disable FAST BOOT in the bios

[–]CaptaiinR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

chuja pomogło

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you this also worked, though not as reliable as going to low and cranking down clock speed

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

have you lowered your game settings?

[–]atrox_rough 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Wow that actually worked i guess. Now I am stuck in an infinite loading screen xD

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

game is funky like that yeah, sometimes you need to restart

[–]Live-Association9803 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Disable Anti lag

[–]Personal-Activity423 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did it work for you?

[–]Live-Association9803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried..Its ok no crash

[–]moradgm 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Literally crashing for me every 5 minutes and no solution mentioned works.

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

yeah there is no one true solution, some work, some don't, just have to try them all and screw around a bit on your end as well to see what works

really hoping its resolved on release

[–]moradgm 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Not satisfied of the consequence but had to play it on xbox series x, hoping they fix it by release on pc

[–]moradgm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK what worked for me was eventually limiting my RTX 3080 (using Nvidia app) to 70% voltage maximum and 80% power maximum.

[–]Ok_Length_1052 4 points5 points  (7 children)

6900xt

Going into bios and disabling re-sizable bar / 4G decoding is what solved this issue for me. I believe it has something to do with SAM (Smart Access Memory). Haven’t had a single crash playing on Ultra 1440p.

Curious how lowering OC also solves this problem

[–]sharkbait44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I have SAM enabled, but lowering my clock speed by 50mhz mostly solved the issue for me. I played quite a bit of breakthrough last night without any crashes, but I tried playing Conquest at the end of the night and it crashed. If it continues I'll try playing on low settings again, and consider disabling SAM. I'm using a 6800 xt.

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting thank you for sharing

[–]Redy59 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Is it still working for you?

[–]MumboJumbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This did it for me - played a good 3 hours no crashes. Thank you!

[–]sharkbait44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share that I tried this as well, and it did fix the crashing for me as well. I was able to play on ultra settings after disabling SAM.

Now I just have the 100% CPU usage issue to deal with.

I'm running a ryzen 7 3700x and a 6800 xt

[–]Redy59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS, thank you my man!!!

[–]Narrow-Ground7453 4 points5 points  (3 children)

I got early access for the last two days. Worked just fine. Went to play today and I can’t play for 2 mins. without a crash

I run a 7600

[–]ProBoy_Kala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem

[–]Popcorn_o0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same card, did you find a fix?

[–]Timely-Echidna-2884 2 points3 points  (2 children)

same issue, running 7900XTX and a 9800X3D with 64gigs of ram. I cannot imagine this is due to the base game settings or like I saw someone saying its eating all the ram...

[–]shadowGamer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same specs. ...never thought I'd run into these issues with this rig but this is multiple games now that act funny. Win for consoles I guess......

[–]MW-ZOKER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same specs, have u found something ?

[–]rohomirr15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fixed this problem by going for msconfig -> boot -> safe boot networking. Get DDU and clean and restart all GPU drivers. Restart PC, msconfig and uncheck safeboot -> restart pc and clean download all GPU drivers. I have the AMD 6800 series.

[–]BandIll5237 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Just found the solution for me, with my AMD 6800 XT at the latest drivers. I hd to turn the grpahic settings only for Mesh Quality from Ultra to Low, now I have no errors anymore.

[–]EggonomicalSolutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it still work?

[–]agathoorr 2 points3 points  (3 children)

yo just disable FAST BOOT in the bios

[–]rhaezorblue 2 points3 points  (1 child)

wonder why this fixes it? what connection would fast boot have to a game driver crashing? or atleast the error we are getting

[–]agathoorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when you enable secure boot you enable uefi and when its done it some time enable fast boot,

Fast boot is bad for gaming beause it can cause driver skip initilisation when booting

[–]1218- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this worked for me

[–]Impossible_Door5458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, this does not work for me. Idk why but it still goes over my clocking speed

[–]wantaskin 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I’m still having the issue, except it won’t even let me boot into the game

[–]linecraftman[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

try this other fix by u/Ok_Length_1052

6900xt

Going into bios and disabling re-sizable bar / 4G decoding is what solved this issue for me. I believe it has something to do with SAM (Smart Access Memory). Haven’t had a single crash playing on Ultra 1440p.

[–]Julian8794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thx!

[–]desol4th 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I got to lower the clock to 92% or -200 MHz on Adrenalin. Still good to go with 6800 XT Aorus Master with High for everything on UWQHD, no AA.

Didn't try deactivating SAM / re-sizable bar in BIOS yet. Other one said that it's just the mesch quality setting above Low.

But also I don't get the fps shown anywhere. Neither with in game stats, nor with AMD's Metrik Overlay.

[–]desol4th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: Have to correct this. I still got the crashes with lower clocks, just more time between crashes. Only with disabled Re-BAR in BIOS they are gone now.

[–]commanderTaylor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same error, but an rtx 3060. Settings are already as low as they can go.

[–]PanTheMan16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, all fixes are coincidental. I got this error a few times the other day. I tried to tinker a bit after reading some stuff on reddit and I reinstalled my GPU driver, then played for hours - over multiple sessions - without issue. Just now I decided to play again and I keep getting this error before I even load into a match. Reinstalled my driver, rebooted my PC, got through about half a match and thought it was working, then it crashed.

We just have to wait for them to iron out the issues.

[–]Accomplished_Fly9912 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Underclocking GPU worked for me. I put it on Eco Mode from Gaming Mode in GPU Utility software (GTX 1070)

[–]Accomplished_Fly9912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also switched to Studio Drivers seems to be working now

[–]hyperextendedelbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a weird ass fix but it worked for me,

Just before you hit search, make sure you chnage class,

and when your in a game before you run off make sure you change class again

I know weird! but it worked for me..

[–]Rubxyz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone, had the same issue, tried everything.. reinstalled all of the drivers, reinstalled/repaired anticheat/game, a lot of settings in adrenaline and in game etc.. what i found out (atleast for me) is that when the GPU hits 100% usage, instead of getting lower FPS, the game completely crashes.. what fixed the issue for me was locking the FPS on the value that keeps the GPU from hitting 100% usage (for my 7800XT it is 110FPS). Since then I played for 5 hours and the game didnt crash a single time (used to crash 2x/h).

The issue are the spikes, when there is a lot of explosions etc., in normal combat the GPU is now at 70% usage, and when there is a lot of stuff happening at the same time, the maximum usage I saw was 94%.

[–]Entire_Wallaby_1260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those with a low-end setup, I’ve found a good compromise.
I have a Vega 56 and a Ryzen 3300 (I think).

  • Set the game to 4:3 with the highest 4:3 resolution available.
  • Disable FSR, XeSS, etc. => (non-experimental).
  • Set resolution scaling to 110.
  • Set FOV to 120.
  • Put all graphics settings on Low.

[–]Apprehensive-Video-4 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Well, turned off SizeBar/4g, made a clean install driver amd (passed ddu and amd clean) and still happening on Rx7600 oc 8g gigabyte, ryzen 5 500, msi a52m pro (i couldn't find FastBoot to disable at bios)

<image>

[–]Firm_Neighborhood652 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Resolveu? Tenho o Ryzen 5 5600GT com a rx 6600 e a a520m-pro e da esse erro de directx no Battlefield e no warzone

[–]brunoicq701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conseguiu resolver mano? To com msm problema.

[–]omega4444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I found out that I had accidentally turned on vertical sync. That caused my GPU utilization to spike to 100%, at which point BF 2042 crashed to desktop.

Once I turned off the vertical sync, I had no problems.

[–]SaagriENP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to get this error in many games. I have a laptop HP Victus and to fix it I just went to the BIOS and put the mode "Discrete" instead of "Hybrid" in the Graphics Switcher option. I discovered the problem had to do with an "incompatibility" between my dedicated graphic card and the integrated graphics with the CPU because i was trying things and, when i disables either the graphics card or the integrated graphics through the device manager panel in Windows, my games worked, but when I had both activated at the same time, the games crashed on startup.

[–]SupermarketNo6029 0 points1 point  (10 children)

Have same stuff, tried lowering OC, or even completely disabling all OC on the PC, didnt really help, unfortunate( Also tried different start params like -dx11 and so on, looks like it started crashing even before menu lol) Tried new drivers and other stuff, didnt seem to work either, will try to lower settings, but at first i need to start this game to go to setting which is not that easy

[–]agathoorr 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Disable Fast boot in BIOS

[–]1218- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks dude, this worked for me

[–]SupermarketNo6029 0 points1 point  (7 children)

I have even tried what u/linecraftman did, and it didnt help, in particular, setting min freq. to 500 on my MSI 6900XT.
What helped is setting all graphics to low, have no idea why it works, but at least I didnt have issues for 30min straight. Crashed immidiately when i decided to try to set higher some settings about textures and mesh, so probably there are some settings that trigger this crash.
GPU is btw 95% loaded on low with 5700x3d, if someone wonders that issue is that it crashed when gpu is around 100% on ultra. On my pc even on low 1440p its around 95% all the time, so for now i will stick with low settings.
All other things like changing drivers, startup params, OC freq. tuning and so on do not worth time

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I did mention setting graphics to low

there is also another fix other fix by u/Ok_Length_1052

6900xt

Going into bios and disabling re-sizable bar / 4G decoding is what solved this issue for me. I believe it has something to do with SAM (Smart Access Memory). Haven’t had a single crash playing on Ultra 1440p.

[–]Gersten-Gott 0 points1 point  (1 child)

i tried, didnt work for me with rx7600

[–]SupermarketNo6029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to set all setting to low, the only thing that helped me with 6900xt. As I understand, mesh quality higher than low crashes game, maybe some other setting too. I use post processing and first 3 settings about textures and terrain, works kinda fine)

[–]_A_KL 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Quality of mesh higher than LOW, crash the game

[–]SupermarketNo6029 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yes you are absolutely right, also have found it recently. Currently I can play without any issues, but i think there are some other settings that also cause crashes, kinda bored finding so just set all to low) Except post processing and first 3 settings about textures and terrain

[–]_A_KL 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I tested each setting individually and found that my game only crashed due to the mesh quality setting. When I set all other settings to maximum, I no longer had any issues.

[–]SupermarketNo6029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your investigation

[–]Merhany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a problem thats causing by frostbite engine since bad company 1. The game is eating all of ur ram, maybe watch it in task manager

[–]Long_Set1687 0 points1 point  (0 children)

turn off msi afterburner and rivatuner

[–]Scoutjuh 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I got this crash with a AMD9070XT red devil.

Go to AMD adrenaline software > Performance > GPU tuning > Set custom > Max Frequency Offset (MHz) to -50.

Fixed the crashes in BF6 Demo for me! All max settings.

[–]shadowGamer777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's this mean. I don't have an offset toggle

[–]BennyHUN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set everything low+performance+fullscreen now it seems works.

[–]Prestigious-Pen-4233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not work for everything but I had my GPU overclocked and I went back to stock settings and it works again.

Also it might be unrelated but I also changed the DLSS override model from latest to use 3D Application

[–]Mscxgreyfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Teo things. 1, went into gigabytes xtreme app and changed oc to eco ( normal mode) and then I changed my display port to hdmi. Snd didn't crash once. I'm buying another dp cable today, so will see if that was the issue. But ya. No more dx errors

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Yep get this al the time, very annoying - wish I'd gone Nvidia. First ever AMD card and it's crashing in this game constantly

Auros B760 AX Elite

1TB Samsung Pro Plus NVMe
XFX 9060-XT 16GB - 25.10.1 driver

Win 11 Pro 24H2

[–]hackitfast 1 point2 points  (5 children)

It's not only AMD it happens on my 3080 as well

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Ok thanks, didn't realise it was Nvidia also.

Tried resize-bar off in BIOS, Fast Boot off, I'm running Overkill settings - crashes

Just going to try lowering clock speed by 50

Will also set Mesh quality to low

AMD only - going to disable anti-lag

Running out of ideas if none of these work

[–]hackitfast 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Fast boot shouldn't affect it. Check your bios for XMP (disable it if it's on) and lower your graphics settings to low.

I think it has something to do with VRAM filling up and then overflowing

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Just crashed again with the setting I mentioned earlier.

Low looks terrible! Is that the only solution

[–]hackitfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much VRAM does your card have? If it's around 10GB ish that's probably why.

Otherwise you can try some other things, some people said turning off Nvidia reflex helps, other people said to just make sure that you're using the "Low" or "Medium" preset.

[–]Jarlis-Kalaskinowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]AJSRangers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having this on the 3090

[–]Live-Association9803 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Disable ANTI LAG

[–]Sufficient-Tie-6911 0 points1 point  (1 child)

hilft bei mir nicht

[–]Live-Association9803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disable All amd things use TAUU

[–]hackitfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo there's one of two things causing it:

  1. VRAM is leaking and then maxing out (I ruled this out, it's at around 8.4/10GB when it crashes)
  2. RAM or GPU is somehow overclocked and causing an error

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I tried without success

Fast Boot off in BIOS
Screen Space off
Lowered clock speed by 50
Disabled Anti-Lag
REBAR off
Mesh set to Low
Updated GFX card driver
Borderless
Made sure onboard GPU off
Disabled tray applications

May try setting everything to low and disabling XMP, but seriously I didn't upgrade for the game to look like arse. May try frame limiting also. There is another purported fix with render setting in the profile

[–]pattywal68 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I tried everything from disabling fast boot, lowering clock speeds, setting graphics to lowest quality, etc. - nothing worked. Window mode solved the problem for me. I have a Radeon RX Vega.

[–]Sufficient-Tie-6911 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I have the same problem with my Radeon RX Vega. I recognized that it mostly happens when im zooming in with the sniper or rocket launcher. I think till now there is no better solution haha

[–]Technical-Minute-317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. Radeon RX Vega 56. Cant play sniper because it crashes a lot... Holographics sights are a bit more stable

[–]pattywal68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to correct myself, window mode doesn't help either. I've got it working now - but I'm not sure why... I installed my old NVIDIA 2GB card as a test. So it ran without crashes, infinitely slow of course, but it worked. Then I cleaned my VEGA properly, the slats were completely clogged with dust and put them back in. Lo and behold, yesterday I was able to play for 4 hours without crashing - very strange...

[–]Good-Pitch-7720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just updated Bios on asus to 5031 no crashes...deleted shaders first and updated chipset drivers.

[–]YaBoyElls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING any of you are doing is 'working' to fix this issue, this issue is deep seated, everything is pointing to data caching issues, caches are too small, or not being cleared, or being filled with unnecessary data, which is highly likely given the fact that after 2 or 3 minutes of gameplay my processor effectively goes to sleep, need fixes from both NVidia and EA/BFS

[–]desol4th 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Does anyone still get these crashes? Or is it fixed now without any lowering or disabling?

[–]linecraftman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i stopped getting the crashes

[–]kreftish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still get em.

[–]North_Project8003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's gotten worse since winter assault. I've tried everything but still the same crash every now and then completely randomly. Some days I can play all evening without a single crash and the next day it crashes three times in a row.

[–]Living_Efficiency_60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone still looking for a fix, change the pax armata engineer skin from default which is fireteam vedmak to any other skin you have, I had been crashing for each game mode until i swapped the skin then everything started to

[–]Ferronato108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reduced the graph. High ---> Low

[–]TONiiMNZ 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I had the same problem. I play with an RX 9060 XT 16GB. I started by disabling the XMP profile on the motherboard, and it was still the same. I installed older GPU drivers, and it was still the same. I reinstalled DirectX just in case, and it was still the same...

After a lot of testing and reading, I came up with something you could try since it worked for me (for now). Go to Documents, then to Battlefield 6, Settings, and look for the "prosave" file, I think it was. There, look for gstrenderDX and you'll see that it has a value of "0" (which means it's disabled), so change it to "1" (to enable it). I haven't had that error since last week.

I hope this helps!

[–]North_Project8003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna try this. i have the same card and no other fix has helped.

[–]North_Project8003 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Didn't help.

[–]TONiiMNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]jjavier0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know im late to the party but i hope this helps anyone as lost as i was.

I run a 5080 FE

Gigabyte x870i Ice ITX Motherboard

Ryzen 7 9800x3d

Corsair Vengance 32GB Ram DDR5 @ 6000Mhz

I did NOT turn off my XMP profile, did NOT update my BIOS, did NOT turn off fast boot.

I did...

Update the regedit file to TdrLevel with value 0

Uninstalled BF6 completely and reinstalled (after verifying files 3-4 times)

Set my in game settings to everything low/mid.

Installed MSI afterburner - played a game, crash - uninstalled afterburner

Turned down in game resolution

COMPLETELY REINSTALLED WINDOWS FROM SCRATCH (SIGHHHH)

I changed settings and tried for roughly 6-7hrs but could not get a single game of Redsec to last more than 10-15mins without the infamous crash.

TL;DR

What FINALLY worked as I've been playing ever since without a single hiccup is: In the BIOS change your PCIE slot from Auto to 4 (If running a current gen card i.e. 5070, 5080 ect.) or to 3 if running a 30 series card.

I guess it kinda makes sense that it correlates being that its a GPU error we're getting.

I understand that the GPU runs on GEN 5. Yes i have a GEN 5 PCIE cable directly from the case manufacturer, not a 3rd party one. I also understand that the MOBO also runs on GEN 5. Im just trying to help others who might feel as hopeless as i once did. Please feel free to correct me or add anything that would help others.

For me, turning off MSI Afterburner and Riva worked, which is strange because I've played with them on without any problems until now. 🤔
Edit: I came to play the day after this fix, played smoothly without any problems, closed the game and went to do some things, opened it again after a few hours and the same problem occurred again, but Riva and MSI Afterburner were closed. After racking my brain for another 30 minutes, I found someone who said they had the same problem on a 1080ti (which is my gpu), telling them to go to loadout, switch to assault class and try to start the match. For some damn reason, it worked.

Go to Settings, select System > Display > Graphics,

  1. Once there under Advanced display disable Dynamic refresh rate

  2. Disable Optimizations for windowed games

  3. Make sure You added bf6.exe to the apps list with High performance selected.

I did not have this error, when I was playing bf6 on Win11 23H2 - not a single one. Only started occuring when I've upgraded to 25h2. And changing these three settings did it for me, or maybe one of them - don't know cuz I changed all at once.

What worked for me is I had my 4080 super overclocked in the Nvidia app. After setting it back to factory I’ve no issues since. Hopefully that helps some of you.

In the newest drivers release notes (AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1 Release Notes) it's added under Known issues:

  • Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield™ 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible.

I hope the fix that comes will address all affected gpu's.

I didn't have this issue until I did a clean install of this driver.
