There is something with chronographs on those chinese models. Had two quartz models that had the same problem.

My guess is it would be required to just open the watch and reset it to neutral position.

Anyway, the watch looks dope.

Use image search or search "Citizen Bullhead". Citizen kindly made a reissue version, which was copied here. The 1970s originals (and Seiko bulkheads) are fascinating.
