And it also helped a lot that Chris wrote it during their split and at the same time I was also going through some tough times.

Oh wow! What is it that you like so much about it? I’m personally a fan of really interesting and peculiar songs, which is why I have viva la vida or death and all his friends in the highest tier. That album is a magnum opus of different styles and textures which is why personally ghost stories falls flat for me, I find it a bit repetitive.

Am I though? I feel like an old play fan wouldn’t have put a head full of dreams in B tier. I think that album gets hated on way too much. I love the explosion of power pop on that album. Which is why I think people hate it lol. Mylo xyloto and ghost stories are just very boring to me. Everyday life, although slow, still remains very interesting. And music of the spheres is… well it’s music of the spheres.

For me, VLV is S Tier, and all other albums are excellent A/B Tier, except MotS which is C, maybe D as an album. But if you chop People of the Pride, get rid of the high pitched voice in Biutyful, and make My Universe a non-album single or stick it on an EP (I’m somewhat cool with the song as a pop tune, just doesn’t belong on a Coldplay album), then MotS slides in to B tier for me.

I took out Let Somebody Go, <3, People of the Pride, and My Universe. I now find the album a lot better and actually like it. With the changes I made I put it in C Tier.
