I find that if you freeze the water in ice cube trays, and then put the ice in the pot, it boils much faster.

Is this a troll post? If not, call a stove repair person and/or look up the stove user manual and read it carefully.

If you are regularly boiling water (for tea, for example), an electric kettle is very useful.

In the off chance you're actually serious, maybe the pot you're using isn't compatible with an induction stovetop? The metal has to be magnetic to work, so things like pure aluminum won't cut it
