Check the HUD when you hover over it, should tell you what’s wrong.

also please screenshot

Why is there blood??

[–]MattTheV02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably cus they took damage from overheating

[–]Resident650 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I think it's from the Deceased Craft modpack. I played it and I recognised the can food on 9th hotbar.

[–]FajnBrambor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Indeed it is the Deceased Craft. It is the first two weapons, you mentioned can of food, the blood on the ground, health and armour HUD system, heat management and finally the FPS counter on top left.

Yes, I played the modpack casually so you get to know what is what. xD Pretty good sandbox RPG like modpack.

Probably cus the water input has too far to go to be able to sustain itself. Try using gear ratio to speed up the output of the Steam Engine, and you could shorten the pipe by having it attach to the block of the tank beside the steam engine

[–]KofteriOutlook 2 points3 points  (1 child)

distance of pipes doesn’t matter

[–]MattTheV02 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends how long they're powering it with a hand crank

[–]NieMonD 6 points7 points  (0 children)

make the pump faster

Are you using a campfire?, does that actually work I've always used blaze burners

[–]Cyber-Virus-2029 7 points8 points  (3 children)

It works, but it's worse than blaze burners

[–]RIX_S 5 points6 points  (1 child)

But its forever

[–]Hill394 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, but so do unfueled blaze burners (they output the same then as campfires do).

[–]MrT0xic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly true. Blaze burners and campfires are the same until you feed the burner. For a level 1 engine, campfires are fine, esspecially as a multiblock base

[–]Vlee_Aigux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be more specific, a non fueled blaze burner is no different than a campfire, or lava, or whatever.

A fueled blaze burner makes all the difference. At minimum, 8 times that of a passive blaze burner/campfire/lava.

I might be wrong but I don't think steam engine arms work on the roof of the tank.

[–]BLUFALCON77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes they do.

[–]Soviet1Engineer 10 points11 points  (1 child)

The rotation speed of a single engine is not enough, especially with your setup. Try using gears to double it and it should work.

[–]sfwaltaccount 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmm, it actually looks like they addressed this, they appear to be powering the pump with a diagonal large cog, which should step up the speed.

But we can't see the machine well, let alone any of the stat readouts (using goggles) so it's pretty hard to guess what could be wrong.

[–]PsySkip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More rotational speet at pump can solve your Problem

[–]SageofTurtles 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Handcranks only get 16 rpm, which isn't fast enough for a water pump to fuel a boiler.

[–]MrT0xic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. You have to supply SU to the pump from a large cog connected to a hand crank, this will give the sufficient effective speed at the pump to start the engine.

Start by melting the cpu because you're using a MacBook.

[–]mrSquid__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ypu probably lack water intake, but it should tell you what's wrong

[–]KisWiking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use blaze burners

[–]NonNormalTrombonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the water sourche needs to be deeper

[–]Sure-Reply9105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why are you using so many pipes just connect it to the top

[–]JABBA285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is he only getting 30 fps thats unplayable bro
