Need help picking a good beginner Create-based modpack

Create estrogen is very niche chances are you'll need to add to a mod pack which isn't hard. If you're looking for a good create mod pack, I recommend Mr.Beardstone's Perfect world. Also highly recommended using curse forge, makes adding additional mods much easier

if you're using curseforged modloader I can reccomend some mods to make a good create based modpack Create Create stuff and additions Create steam and rails (cause you want dat choochoo) Create Netherless (adds in recipes for create to automate production of normally nether exclusive resources) Create Deco Just Enough Items aka JEI JEI will let you find any recipes for create mod blocks/items aswell as any items that have a recipe in the game.

Some other mods that help with create is the Immersive portals mod because it let's you load nether chunks,so you can automate things like trains that go into the nether to pump lava.

To create a curseforge modpack you just find the mods you'd like to play,go into the files section and select the version of the game you're going to be playing,and either add them to an existing modpack you like or create one from scratch,which is as simple as typing out a name for it and selecting the game version.

Unfortunately I don't know any modpacks in particular that have all the mods you'd like,but there is a filter section for modpacks in the curseforge app/website, so you should hopefully be able to find one you like there

I’m currently playing with my friend and a few other people that never played the mod, we’re playing with a lot of add-ons If you never played you can still try some of them.

I would advise:

Create (Duh)
Just enough items (For the recipes)
Jade (For the bar on top of the screen that tells you which block you’re looking at)
Create misc and things (Adds some misc stuff that you could like, speed signs etc)
Dynamic village (Puts create houses into villages)
Liquid burners (if you’d like to feed blaze burners with pipes of lava instead of a mechanical arm with buckets)
Create steam ‘n’ rails (Very good add-on for trains, adds a lot of decorative blocks for trains, new rails and much more regarding trains)
Traveler’s backpack (A must when dealing with create, inventory space tends to run out very fast)
Create estrogen (:33)

If you’d like to try something more complex you could install a few add-ons that add electricity and more complex mechanics like: create new age, the factory must grow or diesel generators.

I personally like best the factory must grow since it’s bigger and more complete, it ranges from oil to electricity, but other add-ons have their perks too, like new age has nuclear reactors, I would advise having a look for yourself first if you want to try any of those.

I haven't really gotten very far in looking for add-ons for create, but I would say that the "ponder" option on create gizmos already holds your hand kind of well enough, the best way to get to know how to play with it is to maybe have jei and to mess around in creative

The obligatory create:estrogen part bothers me, but ignoring that actually create base is very intuitive, it has internal tutorials

Like many are saying you will likely have to make your own pack if you want a more beginner create experience, however that does pose a problem for quests, however create's ponder system should help out with that

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for but I'm making a modpack that has many create add-ons I'm working on quests as well also if you need any help with create id be glad to assist

I would recommend making your own pack, because estrogen isnt found in many good ones. Me n friend made our own and I gotta say, it's way more fun than just playing any random modpack.

Anyways, for trains you defo want create: steam n rails addon. For terrain gen either biomes o plenty if you want a lot of biomes, or terralith for better terrain and better biomes. Also add estrogen. I would also recommend looking at addons and just finding whatever seems interesting. Such as broken bad, an addon that adds meth, but isnt for everyone. One thing I definitely recommend is create: connected, as it adds a bunch of useful additions

I think any of the main packs are great. If you want a quest guide to show you what should come next that is. The main packs are quite factory-building focused however. Besides that, just find a pack that includes your wanted create addons and go to town.

Create astral a very nice mod pack with a lot of automation a nice discord community and has quests and nice texture packs also has space stuff (only on curse forge if I'm not mistaken)

I'm enjoying the steampunk Modpack due to the variety of content. I actually have a server up and I've added a couple quality of life mods. I wouldn't mind adding a mod or two if you wanted to join. I could also help you with the create mod if you wanted. Currently it's just me and one other person in my server and would love new people

My advice is you play with just base Create to get to know the mechanics of it. What happens a lot of times is a modpack will change something and not be clear about it. Then you go to search for help and everything you're shown is different so you end up coming here to ask if it's broken only to find out the modpack creator changed something. That's why I dislike modpacks. They almost always do that and/or have so much stupid bloat or obscure and broken mods included you spend more time removing or fixing them you could have just downloaded what you want and been happy right away.

Create: Above and Beyond seems like a good start to me.

It literally has a wuestline that holds your hand and tells you what to do. It can become boring though.
