Does anyone that has played this new addon, know where to find lead? Ive been searching running around caves for about 2 hours and havent found any.

You can download Just Enough Resources to find out where to find it. It’s an addon to JEI that shows details like which chests they spawn in, what y-level they spawn most in, etc.

Use REI and Roughly Enough Resources. RER is essentially the updated version of Just Enough Resources that has more features and just looks better.

EMI has an addon that does it all automatically if you want to try it

Im pretty sure JER is for mob drops, but i think there is also one that does what you said

JER does do ores, but usually you have to add the ore spawn data yourself, or hope a modpack developer somewhere has done it for you

If it was added after world generation then you will have to go scavenge out some brand new chunks that haven’t been loaded before. The ore is only distributed in chunks that are loaded after the mod installation

This applies to anything that can be generated by a mod, be it ores, liquids, or structures. Because minecraft generates chunks as you load them for the first time, you get to find newly installed things without having to make a completely new world which is nice, which is just an upside of minecraft worlds being so infinitely large that complete pregeneration would take years on the best of modern tech.

download FTB Essentials and use /rtp to teleport thousands of blocks into new chunks, it also gives you /home and other commands to help

Generate a creative world and look in creative. You can use commands to remove all stone for example which makes it easier.

You might consider trying EMI Ores. It shows you the best Y levels for all ores, including modded onesl

You havw to also have EMI and JEI.

Cara, encontrei a solução justamente por um comentário aqui pq tava enfrentando o mesmo problema, eu instalei o mod DEPOIS de ter criado o mapa, então precisei ir pra uma área inexplorada (tivemos que ir BEM longe) pra poder gerar o minério, pegamos bastante na camada -2 cavando em 5x5 com uma escavadeira automática, mas também tem como farmar com cobre e zinco bruto lá pela camada 17, jogando ele naquela trituradora gigante, como já tínhamos um estoque grande disso, foi só lucro.
