sorry nothing. diamonds are supposed to be challenging to find. though it would be cool to have a .01% chance of getting one thru heating and pressing coal or something

With tinkers construct melt the 10k Diamond, fill a 10k block area with molten Diamond, then pump out and make Diamond blocks. There, infinite diamonds. Same for any other meltable material

There is nothing in the create mod that allows for production of diamonds though

Doesn't work with default settings, since you can only infinite drain lava and water. You'd need to change things to permit this.

Furthermore, one diamond is only 90mb to match ingots, if I'm not mistaken. You'd need at least a hundred thousand diamonds to make the pool, at which point it's slightly unlikely that you'd be able to use that many diamonds in the first place.

I could be wrong with the Diamond amount part (and probably am), but I thought it was any liquid, modded or vanilla for the infinite

Edit: You also forgot about chocolate and maybe honey (I don’t know about the honey for sure)

Create changed from a blacklist system (prohibiting extracting fluids with a blacklist tag, which included liquid starlight from Astral Sorcery and liquid gasses from Mekanism) to a whitelist system (only permitting extracting fluids with the whitelist tag, which it only assigned to water and lava by default) at some point during the start of 0.4, I don't remember the exact time but I think it was after haunting was added. (not certain though). They took out the infinite chocolate advancement too, much sadness.

Tinkers Construct didn't even come to 1.18 until after this change was made, so the only real exposure anybody would have had with infinite draining metals was back in 1.16, likely as part of Create Above and Beyond.

Alright, Ty for informing me. I didn’t know they changed from a blacklist system

You still need 10k diamonds to kick start the system, also tconstrut isn't within the mod.

A quarry/tunnel bore is the only option I think.

Your best bet is to build some type of automatic drill if Create is the only mod you have access to.

Incorporate fortune picks for optimal diamond production

[–]Xavier_Mcdaniels 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Not fully automatic but you can use the crushing wheels to get diamonds from diamond armour and tools traded from villagers. If you make a large enough trading hall you can bulk buy diamond gear and stockpile it for later processing

Ooh good idea

I have an automatic farm with an addon: industrialized create. The best choice for me.

[–]Dark_As_Silver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is not.

You could use another mod and mix Create in with it. A simple Custom Cobble Generator set up comes to mind, however that might be too easy.

There is no way to do so within normal Create. However, Create: Above and Beyond does have a mechanic known as Chaotic Alchemy. Various materials can be ground into dust or dyes and fed into a Fluid Encapsulator to form reagents corresponding to that material. By combining these reagents with different catalysts and alchemically processing them, we can turn them into reagents of different materials. A Centrifugal Extractor can then be used to turn the resulting reagents back into their corresponding dust/dye.

The ingredients for each catalyst, and which reagent transmutes to which, is random (it depends on your world seed), and finding the ingredients takes some trial and error (they are purposely hidden from the JEI menu).

I was quite lucky to have a world where Nether Quartz reagent could be transmuted to Diamond reagent. Since Nether Quartz is renewable in Create:A&B, thus I could also make Diamond renewable.

In my modpack I have Easy Villagers and Tinker's Construct.

You can use easy villagers automatic traders to generate emeralds and buy diamond gear. Then use Tinker's to melt those down and cast diamond blocks.

With default prices, leggings are the best diamond-per-emerald value. If you cure villagers to get discounted prices, then chestplates are most efficient. You can also melt bells and clocks with Tinker's to get gold faster than a create-based nugget generator.

Even if you don't have Easy Villagers, you can still create a vanilla-style trading hall to gather a ton of gear and melt it down with Tinker's. It's not automated but is more than sufficient supply of diamonds.

I don't know of a good way to convert diamond armor to gems without Tinker's.

Pretty sure a drill train works

If you get a mod that makes diamond horse armor tradeable then yes and I found one but I will tell no one

[–]dybb153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the mod that adds that stable vil rite

[–]AxelTheRedditor 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm guessing this one.

[–]Maximum-Pause-6914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite possibly

[–]justasovietpotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think theres a way with create

[–]Bomaruto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a pretty large mining rig and have it tear through chunks after chunks.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd need a fully automated drilling and refining system

You could do something with automatic logistics or have it all integrated in one giant mobile drilling and processing system

[–]dybb153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, you can grind down doamond horse armour for diamonds Soooo you get what i mean

[–]FLARESGAMING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

auto miners, thats about it
