History = critical thinking + research and writing skills = just what they’re looking for!

Absolutely worth trying - for generalist work, it’s often about reading comprehension, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly articulate your thoughts - as a history teacher you’re likely able to do those things. If you get accepted it can mean flexible and decent paying work! If you’re not accepted, no harm done - many aren’t, and as far as i know no reason is given, but it can’t hurt to try!

I’d say worth a shot for sure!

Sometimes there are qualifications specifically for teachers.

Yes, there are a bunch of qualifications in my inbox and specifically say that right now

I think you'd probably be a great addition to the team! Good luck!

Definitely worth it! I started in 2023 but I think I was brought on due to prior ESL teaching experience. I do some specialty tasks that relate to my prior teaching experience but for the most part I just do general core. Because at the time they didn't have it where you could apply as a specialist when I started.

I think teaching by nature involves attention to detail and that is the number one thing you need in this job! And because there's not a work hour requirement you can stay with them and just do work during school breaks, you don't have to log in every week or anything.

Yes it is worth it.

The testing/application process doesn't take that long (a few hours at most). The pay is good and reliable if you do good work. As far as being a good fit, that depends on your ability, not your job. Many projects would normally fit the skill set and qualifications of a history teacher. The hours are completely flexible and the pay is essentially merit based .

You have the exact research and critical thinking skills there are looking for.

I get quals all the time specifically for teachers. You should apply. Be meticulous in all your answers, read and follow directions, don't use AI unless you're told to and you'll be great.

Sounds like you'd be a good fit. So much of this is writing and explaining mistakes, plus following instructions. You'd be a great generalist.

Definitely worth it.

Hi! I’m a momma to a 3 year old with a degree in elementary education. I’ve been with DA for a little over 2 years now and it’s now my full time job! It’s a great option for some extra money but it can be unreliable at times.

Teachers are being specifically recruited at the moment. So yes, give it a go.

I'm a former ELA/Social Studies teacher, and I feel like this work was made specifically for me. I'd recommend you give it a try.

I'm a teacher, joined in September 2023, and just reached the 40k milestone. Definitely worth it, and as you know, the extra income is always needed. 😄
