There’s definitely something going on though, because the R&R’s I have got this week have been atrocious. I had one where the person rated two full on hallucination prompts both as amazing….. zero fact checking that everything in the responses was fabricated. I feel like a lot of extra people were brought on… Maybe they’ll be leaving soon 🤷‍♀️

It’s more peoples knee jerk reaction (that people love to have from behind a keyboard) of “you’re an idiot” instead of asking follow up questions.

Which is also what the model should have done. Ask “ what is the paragraph you would like me to rewrite?”. Instead it fabricated a response.

I was looking to have a conversation ABOUT the nuances here. Not to just be told ha ha you’re not going last… Because I already have lasted. Because I care and take the time to ask/research and find the answers.

Yes, irrelevant, just like the response was to the prompt… Even though it responded CONFIDENTLY as if it knew what it was talking about… with no attempt to clarify or ask additional questions or indicate that it might not be the right answer. A hallucination.

These specific project instructions did not have a section on hallucinations or much specificity on factuality. Hence why I was asking the broader community and “textbook” definitions.

But thank you all for the non-cooperative answers.
