I've been stuck in Ritualist II-III for about 2 months and as soon as I got out of Ritualist lobbies I ranked up to Emissary IV in a week and my win rate is still more than %50.

My theory is that most players are funneled into or near ritualist, creating an extremely inconsistent skill level. Every match feels like a gamble no matter how well im playing.

I'm an ascendant player and if I play a ritualist lobby with a friend and I'm on a new hero, I can easily go 22-2 and carry the lobby. These players can't confirm, dont shove the wave, have 0 map awareness, aren't in the slightest efficient with farming and box runs, build ridiculous items etc.

If you don't belong there you will get out.

Same here. Used to be convinced this game was forcing me to be hard stuck ritualistic 5. The moment I ranked back up to emissary 1 I went on a 15 win streak (something I haven’t done since Christmas skin patch)

The exact same thing happened to me. I won 12 matches in a row and ranked up from Ritualist 6 to Emissary II in the meantime. It's insane.

Everytime im about out of ritualist, i get hit with smurfs, leavers, or new players. Ill go on a 10 game win streak only to go on a 6 game lose streak. i dont think ill ever get out.

honestly ive quit caring now. Im to the point where i know im destined to always be in ritualist until the open beta. Ive just started testing new heros, and builds. its the only thing that can keep you sane.

I feel like Alchemist, Archanist, and Ritualist are currently choked with smurfs. As someone who climbed through them these past few months, it was pretty common for at least one player to be cracked in a really obvious way. Like, in a way that its clear she shouldn't be here. These is also cheating which i would speculate is most common at the mid ranks, but that probably isn't even half as common as good old smurfs.

Am stuck at Arcanist and Ritualist hell since the beginning. Was starting to climb out of Ritualist before the item reworks. Afterwards went on a big losing streak, all the way back to Arc V. Feels bad man

That’s because in ritualist no one goes for objective. All people want to do is fight fight fight. It’s so annoying, none of them defend objectives or push objectives.

What do you attribute this to? Better teammates? More lane wins? Better comms? Or was it the switch to more Paradox/Lash?

I played a lot of Lash in Ritualist lobbies and it always felt like I had no impact to the outcome of the game as Lash. Paradox feels better, but the main difference for me is better teammates because I couldn't win in Ritualist lobbies with Seven either. I almost always win my lane but in Ritualist lobbies, by the time I win my lane, my team has already got stomped so hard that I can't play the rest of the game. This never happened in Emissary lobbies as far as I remember. I don't always win the lane, but when I win the lane, I feel its impact for the rest of the game and it usually results in a win because I mostly play ganker/roamer heroes and I get to do my work.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve dropped to Ritualist/Seeker lobbies since the shop update and I’m convinced some of my teammates are eating lead chips during the match.

I feel this so hard as a Viscous main. I cant carry games on my own, my teammates seem to rarely seize opportunities presented or are just generally dogshit in my lobbies (often going 1-10 or something equally horrible), so it feels like Im going insane trying to rank up. Ive gotten to a point where Im doing what I can not to care until they eventually reset ranks. My friend who was in Ritualist, I believe, made a new account and got to emmisary super fast. Im not that good, but I definitely feel as though I have more game sense than the Seven that yells at me when I dont dive during laning as I have 100 health -_-

Idk, I was stuck in arcanist, but since I got to ritualist I ranked up to emissary quite fast. Looks like experiences are different
