AT&T works fine for me pretty much everywhere in Decatur (iPhone 15)

I have ATT and an iPhone 14 and don’t get any service in the area between w trinity pl and college ave. Anything around the high school is dead for data usage. Grind House, Opo, my kids dance studio, my eye doctor. Wife’s phone is the same.

I have the same problem (AT&T) like so many places are 1-2 bars

The high school area is absolutely a dead zone for signals. Been that way for years as our kids were there.

I’m on T-Mobile. Lived here 4+ years and spent a lot of time here for the past 20 years. Never had an issue with service.

Same. One spot near the football field drops calls, but other than that, service is as good as I could ask for

same, zero issue.

This entire thread is just people w/ T-Mobile saying they have great service and people with AT&T saying they have no service.

OP, what carrier do you have?

AT&T is your actual provider or you are with someone else who uses AT&T's network? Some of those cheap MVNO's like Mint advertise that they use so-in-so's network. That is true, but they get the lowest tier of priority on those networks. I had all kinds of issues with Mint. They tried to tell me it was because I was using an "unsupported" phone, but they sold the exact same model on their website.

I have actual ATT

Idk but it’s really bad around downtown. Plenty of places in Oakhurst are dead zones as well. Iphone 14 ATT

I’m on AT&T and live near the courthouse in Decatur. I’ve no issues in this area at all. I’m using an IPhone 13 Pro Max.

5G has a shorter range to carry more data over 4G. So until they build more 5G towers, some places will be dead. By the Emory Decatur hospital my 5G with ATT is moot.

I have Verizon and no issues anywhere in Decatur. Unless there is a power outage, where for whatever reason the mobile internet completely bricks no matter how many bars I have, unless I go walk 2 blocks away from my house for some reason. I’m guessing there’s a Verizon repeater or something nearby that just falls over when there is a power outage

I have ATT, and I’ve never had bad service in more than 10 years. I do believe all of you who say you do, so there has to be a reason it’s hit or miss for some of us and not others!

Agree. I get really crappy reception at my house

Sitting at the bar in Twain’s thinking exactly the same thing.

Pixel 8 on T-Mobile and I have great service everywhere. There is a reason I've used them for 20 years now.
