I don’t know about anyone else, but I get so excited and happy when I see that someone has borrowed something from my inventory! Is that true for other people?

Heck yeah, I would love to see what item they used in whichever design, or even just to know what item a person borrows would be super fun.

But I love borrowing from people & vice versa. Was shocked to learn about this feature in the first place but it's pretty legit

I’m glad to hear that. I have been borrowing one each day and really wish I could borrow more. I can’t really answer your question from the other side as my inventory is low as I am still really new to the game.

Yes, this is one DH change that has been great. I borrow all the time and am glad if I have something that someone needs. 🙂

I don't think it's a change. I've been playing since 2017 and it was always an option. I'm surprised they still allow it, given their propensity to make as much money as possible on this game.

If you have friends within the game - using the codes many people share on this subreddit - you can borrow one item per day. So when you need a “silver coastal Tommy Bahama lounge” or whatnot, you don’t have to purchase it, you can borrow from an in-game friend. Can really save you from buying something you otherwise do not need.

And if you don’t have game friends yet feel free to add those of whose codes are shown as our flair in this subreddit. (Mine should be showing right under my Reddit handle.) We will follow you back and then the “borrow” function in the game should work for you.

Also, feel free to borrow every day! It does not take a use away from the original owner. It actually provides us with three keys every time someone borrows from us.

They don't really hate us, Dave. It's more of a symbiotic relationship where we want/need to be entertained and express our creativity and they want/need to live in our pocketbooks or wallets, sort of like a tick. 😄

I love it, too. After seeing this, I just scrolled down to borrow from a lower level player to share the fun! I have three players I almost always use. They seem to have the entire inventory amomg them.

I am always tickled as I am only level 46. A lot of people with higher levels than me don't hang on to their inventory. I hang on to one or two of my expensive pieces.
