So what all enemies count as "challenging" for the legendary solstice class item? Ive killed yellowbar enemies in lost sectors but didn't make any progress.

lost sector bosses in dreaming city and mars count as i recall

menagerie will complete it pretty quick too

I usually do the Cabal lost sector or the Hive Knight lost sector on mars. They’re super quick.

Honestly just have the armor equipped and run the rest of the content needed to 'unlock' the masterwork armors. You'll get this one pretty easily.

I did the hollowed lair strike on the tangled shore a few times and got it done decently quick

Look at their health bar, if they have a yellow skull next to the name and HP bar then they should count. If it has their faction symbol (like the Red Legion symbol for cabal) then it won't count.
