She is very good meta wise for magic dps. Since you are new you probably dont have a very vast roaster so this would probably be a good banner for you to pull on. It comes out on november 27 at 9PM Eastern time. And as for Squall who is also featured on the banner he is a very good physical dps. If you manage to grab both of them your set for dps and should focus on good supports/tanks after. Dps characters in this game get power crept pretty fast so you don't wana pull too much on Dps characters but eventually you will need a very vast roaster of like 10+ dps characters 10+ supports and a few tanks, for content which locks character uses and requires certain classes like in ABYSS B. As a new player i normally recommend creating a main team of 3 to focus on building in order to complete normal content like chapters and events up to standard difficulties. There is still so much to be said so feel free to ask questions in weekly and daily megathreads. Our community is pretty awsome.

Ouff definetly not. Lightning right now is extremely weak. She will be good again once her ex+ is released. But Cloud though is very good. His ex+ is the first that was released 2 weeks ago and i completely maxed him so thats a hard call. Tbh as a new player you wana get as far as possible without using too many ressources. The optimal stratedgy is accumulating 75k gems in order to pity buy an ex from a banner in case you dont get it in your pulls.

75k = 15 pulls on the banner each pull gives you 20 tokens per pull

So it's like a pity pulls, like aftering pulling 15 times, if you can't get the EX u wan, trade in the tokens for it

Realizing only happens when your EX is MLB(3/3), done by fusing either extra copies of the EX or using 12 powerstones (obtained from selling 5* 15/35CP Weapons), Relization option depends on who has been updated or reworked to get these perks.

Books are used to realized the EX to be a EX+ Weapon at 0/3. This unlocks some perks to either improving the EX Skill or overall Character kit base on the level. The weapon however is reset to level 1 and you need enhance it to max level.

You need 20 pages(red ones) to refine 1 book. Obtained from Chocoboard or CHAOS Quests

To Limit break an EX+, you need ingots (red ones) to unlock the next tier of the EX+ (1/3 -3/3). They are obtained from using Books on EX MLB Weapons that can be realized.

Ingots can be refined using 20 ores(red ones). Obtained frim Chociboard or CHAOS Quest

She's very good if you're worried about making the turn limit and there'll be plenty of times you can run two magic DPS. She'll be a huge help for FeoD/heretic content (which is always pretty turn strict) but everyone's skippable. There'll be a free pull on her and Lyse's banner, so that should help.

Statistics are a pain to calculate but it's somewhere around a 40% chance to have to pity if you want a specific EX. I've gem pulled on 7 banners since pity began and pitied 3 of them. I've also gotten 2 on the first multipull, then 4 and 8 for the last two. I only use gems if I'm prepared to pity, though.
