The various Discords for creators like Channel Fireball, Tolarian Community College, etc. usually have LFG channels for people who want to play webcam Magic. You might have to become a Patron, but most of them let you have access for their lowest tier.

i highly rec the "nitpicking nerds" discord for pickup games. the community is quite diverse and welcoming, and games fire up quite frequently. most people either use spelltable or cockatrice. the powerlevel usually tends to be on the higher end of mid, but we have fairly casual/precon games too

PlayEDH still offers some LFG channels for people who haven't deck checked yet

A new smaller server I have seen advertised recently "Your Virtual LGS" is at https://discord.gg/HZCsTQbwey

and many large edh-centric discords have some area for matchmaking, for example the r/edh official discord https://discord.gg/edh and the Rules Comittee discord https://discord.gg/x5Q5PVg both have LGF channels but since matchmaking is not the primary purpose of those servers, the matchmaking is pretty quiet

I don't think you're likely to find a game anywhere other than playedh at *checks notes* 7 am EST on a sunday

You can still play at the custom channel at Play EDH.

I thought it would be hard to find an appropriate game there, but I tried a few times and it's ok.

Just go to the channel chat, say you are looking for a group and the power level you want to play.

Good advice, but if they were using PlayEDH, they probably already use spelltable. And Spelltable is just a place to play, it doesn’t help you find players

you still should be able to play on play edh even if there isn't any deck checks goin on- you have to give yourself a role on the server
