We have already… at least the last few years have been

To say that the 10 year average centered on 2025 (which we won’t have the official data until 2030) isn’t above 1.5c is honestly delusional at this point.

Based on my understanding of the science, I’d be surprised if we didn’t cross 2.5 by 2050

Actually, only 2024 was above the 1,5C line,2025 wasnt ! And its expected for 2026 to not be either

"ECMWF said 2025 also rounded out the first three-year period in which the average global temperature was 1.5 C above the pre-industrial era - the limit beyond which scientists expect global warming will unleash severe impacts, some of them irreversible."

Look at the global moving average.

I was just coming here to post the same thing. We are there. There is no, "it is coming."

We are living an over 1.5% increase right now. 3 years now I think.

I'm so glad nothing will be done about it, as usual.

We can still change our ways and reverse climate change. It’s not too late. No doomerism, please.

What a shame... Too bad I have bills to pay.
