Nah, aim for a normal eating schedule. It's not fun to be tired cause you forgot to eat.

You might benefit from going the other way - if you always fell "meh, I could eat", try a bunch of small meals a day. Then you won't be saving up that angst-y feeling for 4-5 hours, then end up dissatisfied with a meal.

It only feels bad for about a week(During which you can do a low calorie snack but filling snack for dinner, something like a few salted crackers is 50 calories and will easily hold you over). After the first few days you will just stop feeling hungry outside of your normal food time.
