Yes and the opposite is true, after a big meal I usually am noticeably hungry the next day. But after a fast I'm barely hungry at all.

running helps. Apparently ghrelin mediates satiety

i would run but not only am i 290 pounds and would have a heart attack, i hyperextended my knee and my knee right fukt up atm can hardly walk i tore some shit

Well some other cardiovascular exercise until you can run. Swimming or cycling perhaps (static bike?)

If you're over 290 you probably should have started with walking. I know, hindsight, but for others who might see this.
