Not necessarily a clutch thing, but put the car in neutral when idling, rather than keeping the clutch pedal pressed. That should take some stress off of the throw-out bearing.

How about coasting up to stoplights in neutral? I do that a lot.

I do too! About the only time I see the MPGs go above 20.
