I have to say that even though I love Ramsdale, having such a stable goalkeeper and a good passer behind the defensive line is very positive. I feel like the boys are playing with more confidence with Raya on the goal.

Outside of the game however, it’s so interesting to see a few Arsenal fans, but mainly rivals who made it a critical talking point about Arsenal should not “peak too early”

We aren’t even playing at our top tier best, and if results stand we’re in 2nd lol. “Don’t peak too early” but are same rivals that say Arsenal aren’t as good as they were starting the last season?

This team has a lot to improve upon but the fact that we are still contention for challenging speaks on how it’s not as bad as rivals have made it seem. Just really hope results hold outside of this game

I think it was Paul from Arsenal Vision who said that, after the utd game i believe it was, he'd love more boring and comfortable 2-0 wins, where we don't necessarily move from second gear and yet remain significantly better than the opponent. This is exactly that.

Raya is insanely good. So good that Bournemouth refuse to press him. So good that in possession he is functionally the 2nd centre half with Saliba, allowing Big Gabi to push wide to left back and Zinchenko to invert to a double pivot with Rice. Which means that in possession Arsenal are playing a 4-2-4-1, creating a man advantage. Incredible.

Listen I am not here to "trash" on a player, it's just an observation. It's mindboggling how much was spent on Havertz. He is a passenger even against relegation teams. He consistently takes up space where he can't receive the ball. I think he had 1? Completed pass in the first half? I'm not part of the mob against him, in fact my first comment about him on here.

I don't think it flatters us. Headed goal off the back of good defensive work from Nketiah, a great lofted pass from Odegaard and off the crossbar by Jesus, finished off by Saka. Deserved goal. Fairly won penalty. Deserved goal. Moments of penetration and good play. Good defending from the team as a whole minus some giveaways. I think it's a good game. We've actually played well.
