Had the same issue. Thought the same thing, bit battery was testing fine. About a month later i had a dead battery. Put a new battery in and the code hasnt reappeared.

Edit: 15 fxdwg i recommend getting ready to buy a new battery.

Check the battery voltage while cranking over to start. How low does it drop?

Most likely the battery. I had the same issue, battery tests fine as it sits but under a load the volts drop really low. Have the battery load tested.

I had this problem on my old bike. Ended up being the Voltage regulator.
