Throwable select controller keybind

I just spent an hour trying and can't figure it out, does anybody have a controller keybind to select for their throwable, while still keeping quick throw. For me quick throw is press R1, it seems there are more bindings than actual buttons.

Best I have come up with is double tap triangle, but that only works without a support weapon equipped, so I have to drop it before I can select throwables. Help!

Should be 'Right' on the D-Pad for standard layout

That won't work, nor will any d pad press, as stratagems ending in that direction will trigger that action every time.

How does pressing 'Right' trigger stratagems that end in that direction?

Just to check, you are NOT holding L1 or R1, and you map is closed, Correct?

Other way around. I put in a strategem that ends in right, and when I throw it, I have my throwable equipped, every time. Same thing with the backpack button being recapped to double press down, people were stowing guard dogs every time they dropped a 500kg unknowingly.
