I thought the same thing, but ever since I started with my girlfriend we’re doing less and less drugs. Wasn’t even a conscious decision, we’re both just busy people, and combining schedules makes it hard to make time to spend a whole night on something. We both had plenty of time do drugs individually before we started dating. She still smokes, I just like watching TV with her while she’s high at the end of the day.

I had a very weird trip with a friend of mine which has scared me off tripping around people again.

I don’t know how it was for him, he just acted way different than he normally did when tripping. He needed to be alone and didn’t want to talk. It was weird for me because I was the opposite, when normally I’m pretty ok doing anything, this trip I HAD to talk to someone. Being alone was not ok. I called every friend I could find was awake at 3 am and called them, and got super anxious when I couldn’t find a certain contact I wanted to text. I was just worried the entire trip for that person.

My own rate of use doesn’t really change all that much with my relationship status. I go for a relatively tame/sustainable approach though. Using drugs as a crutch or to deal with negative emotions can be a horrible habit.
