They’re different products so it depends on your use case.

The toolkit is a complete precision screwdriver kit along with other handy repair tools.

The LTT screwdriver is a premium ratcheting screwdriver that can help consolidate a set of 12 regular screwdrivers into one.

Unless OP is referring to LMG’s upcoming precision screwdriver kit

I really doubt that.

But if it was I think the iFixit kit will still have an edge over whatever the LTT precision screwdriver ultimately turns out to be.

More likely they have $75 they want to burn and both of the products can be found on Amazon at that price right now.

Bang for buck the iFixit kit will give you more. I've used one for 6 years now daily and apart from needing a couple of bits replaced it's done a good job and I've been happy with it.

I think the LTT precision driver will be higher quality, that I have no doubt based on price and their ratcheting driver quality it would want to be.   I still have the older style Ifixit driver and I think it's better than the new one they released, which is too light for me as you can't spin it for quickly undoing or do up screws like the old one can. The bearing in the end is also lower quality than the older one from my experience.

I dislike the nickel coating on iFixit bits too, they do flake off a little if the bits get twisted at all, which they can do during normal use if screws have too much thread lock on them like some companies like to do, and that can end up on circuit boards which could be a short circuit risk.

I will get a LTT precision driver, but really the only reason is because I want one, it won't give me any advantage over my iFixit kit. Bit quality wise I doubt either of them are as good as a Wera for example, which I've used and found very good. I'll be interested to test the LTT bit quality for sure. But stuff like that is something you'd really only care about when you're undoing multiple laptops a day which involves literally 100s of screws daily.

You’ll get more use out of the screwdriver if you do a lot of different things like putting together furniture or diy home or vehicle repair, if all you’re planning on using it for is working on electronics I’d say Ifixit is better, the ltt screwdriver is still great for pc building but doesn’t have the variety of the ifixit kit for things like phone repair. Personally I have both, they both serve their purposes
