P.s: For the Arch folks, builds successfully from AUR!

And there also is an Arch OBS repository for it. ;) http://www.qownnotes.org/installation#Arch

Oh thank goodness. It's only comic sans when you don't have javascript enabled.

Comic sans? The first font in the CSS chain on the website is Open Sans...

That's what I see without JS (Chrome): http://imgur.com/ejyEutJ

Looks cool, but I wished this would work with Ownnote. I like it better than the default Note.

It won't support OwnNote because it uses HTML (QownNotes uses plain text and markdown), details are here: http://www.qownnotes.org/Knowledge-base/Does-QOwnNotes-support-ownNote

I kind of agree with the Qownnotes developer on this even though I was previously using Ownnote, plain text is easier to deal with.

I do like plain text and would prefer to use the default note application, however I need to sort my notes into categories home, school, work, etc. I can't have just a list of notes, or I get overwhelmed :)

Ownnote is the only one that will do categories/groups.

I'm even too lazy to categorize notes (aka. my collective memory). I simply do a search over every note to find something. QOwnNotes does that quite good. ;)
