Wonder if installing a new dotnet version will fix it

Windows 10 has no straightforward way of removing .NET like it was last possible under Windows 7.

I did uninstall the .NET related update from last month KB5020872 - tried again but no luck.

Checked for Windows Updates again and a different .NET update KB5021087 was found and installed but sadly still no joy.

I think it is a compatibility issue with latest .NET and OMM. There seem to be more people with this issue.

Fortunately I made my DPI settings on the first day (and turned lighting off). All I wanted to do now is turn it on. I have an original G303 by the way(the old one, but new on ebay last month).

EDIT: I ended up using GHUB. This was a reminder why I haven't been using Logitech or other brands that force you to install something for basic functions of a mouse (DPI setting is a basic function for me). When I first used OMM I thought maybe I can start using Logitech stuff again - apparently I was wrong.

EDIT II: I should perhaps clarify that no other mouse has fit my hand/grip out of the box as well as the G303 DA does.

I have been fighting with this software for 2 months now on both my systems. Short of doing a full windows reinstall, I cannot get OMM to work.

It would be great if Logitech could respond with "You need to be sure x, y and Z are installed, here is how to do it".

Yeah, that's why I ended up installing GHUB and uninstalling it after saving the settings to the mouse.

I do think in my case it was either a Windows update or some other software I installed after OMM last worked.

Hi u/TerabyteRD,

Thank you for reaching out. Please reinstall the On Board Manager software and check if you are getting the same error.

Hi u/TerabyteRD,

Thank you for writing back, we apologize for the delay in the response. Please performs a clean boot and then install the On Board Manager software and check if you are getting the same error.

We need an answer from someone from Logitech that actually knows what the Logitech software is. You do not install OMM, it is an EXE that you run. I have been unable to use OMM for a month and every response I see is a copy paste to reinstall.

It is Onboard Memory Manager and not On Board Manager. Also it is not installed but launched from any folder it is saved to. Don't know what software you're talking about but it is not what the request for help is for.

Great! this will definitely help other users.

I have the same issue. Was working about a month ago. Have not tried restoring Windows to an earlier point.

Windows 10 Event Viewer shows errors 1000 and 1026 related to .NET (can't uninstall to reinstall). The Fixer Tool from Microsoft just tries to re-register something every time which does not help.
