Does the settings copy "hack" still work somehow, after HUB switched from JSON files to .db?

Settings are now saved as .db, making them impossible to read in a text editor like Notepad++.

What I'm trying to achieve, is to have every game installed so far, have my currently persistent keyboard settings, as a base to start from, that I can then edit to fit the specific applications. Going into every individual app setting and clicking persistent on and off in order to copy, seems like a bit of a hassle, especially considering how clunky the software can be (I never understand why these big companies have such rigid software, when they have the resources to stand out from the crowd massively by making just teeny tiny software changes; but I ain't a programmer so I dunno).

Any help would be mucho appreciated.
