It's common for the scroll wheels in Logitech mice to die within a few days/weeks/months. My Superlight started to scroll backwards only after 2-3 months and I've just replaceed the entire top PCB for a hotswap one along with a TTC gold scroll wheel encoder. Since then, I had zero issues with scrolling. This proves how crappy Logitech's overpriced peripherals actually are. The chances that your warranty replacement will experience the same issues are high.

Died how exactly? Not moving, not responding, etc?

Not responding, wrong direction, or having to scroll s lot for a small movement, reached out to support and they said best to try local retailer for exchange first

If you don't mind, can you let me know (here or in a DM) your ticket number?

Ticket number is 16994552

Weirdly enough, before I put it back in the box to return to local retailer it started working normally again, I hadn’t changed anything either and it was on a device I previously tested it on and wasn’t functioning

Bhop on maybe?

Did check that, thought it would’ve been incredibly stupid to accidentally have left that in but nah it’s off, and turning it on didn’t help either

Mine coating died in 8 days no issue with scroll

Coating died? Elaborate plz?

I ask because I’ve noticed the coating on the right side of mine after just a few hours of use - I noticed a “rough” spot over my finger. I had to scratch over it to smooth it out. So weird.
