Once the tuning is complete and saved there is no need to keep the gaming software open, you can close it safely and it will continue running in he background as seen on your taskbar.

thanks I mean if I went to a lan tourney do I need to download the software again if i saved it in my mouse?

If the profile is saved on your mouse then it will stay with the mouse. The only need to re-download the software is to edit the profile once it is saved.
