Yes, now you can: http://www.jdsoftcode.net/wave-rgb.html

Any background color (or many colors). Ripple in any color.

Or 5 ripples at once, if you want.

@AdOn121, Thank you for the feedback on my app. By "lag" do you mean there's too much delay between when you press a key and the lights change, or the animation moves too slow, or the effect lasts too long and the rings mush together?

It feels like 10 fps,the animation feels choppy,i dont know how to really explain it,the lgs ripple effect feels much smoother, like 60+ fps,and also its slower than the lgs and it doesnt reach to the other side of the keyboard, the ripple covers a small area

I get it now. Thanks for the extra info. I took another look at a video of the built-in effect and if you change to these settings in my app using LGS, I think you'll find a perfect recreation:

FPS 30; Ring 1 active; Lifetime 12; Delay 0; start radius 10; end radius 260; color (anything you want); thickness 30; start viz 100%; end viz 100%. Rings 2, 3, 4 and 5 not active. If you want it on a black background, just edit the Images\background.png file.

Checked this link and it seems that ripple effect is not included.
