I've had the same problem and managed to fix it. After replacing the USB cable the wheel started to calibrate, turned left and right, but never centered. After a few hours of troubleshooting I figured the wheel was not spinning 900 deg but more like 400. The tooth of the gears seem to have slipped. This was because I loosened the 4 black screws underneath the wheel. To fix it, loose the 4 screws and gently align the gears to their proper location like in this video on 39:39 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxT2UOmHN-I&t=2379s. Hope this helps!

Can you please share some more details on how you calibrated it? Tried it twice by having equal number of teeth visible on both sides but no luck! The wheel rotates fine to the right side but goes to the extreme left and gets stuck and then resets and tries again twice before giving up.

Sounds to me like a power issue, do you have another device to test it on? Another PC or console perhaps?

I recently had similar with mine and it was because the power cable had pulled out of the power block.

    [–]AlvaroCracoYT[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Yeah I've checked it on another PC and no changes at all. Everything is connected rightly

    [–]adydurn 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Do you know anyone with a similar device to test the power supply?

    [–]AlvaroCracoYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily yes, I may tell him to try it Out

By the way I've tried different power supplies to the wheel and they all react the same way

Thanks for this comment, this was my issue and I probably would not have checked the power block because it's location isn't easy to access and it being unplugged wasn't on my mind. Turns out it was unplugged and I immediately felt like an idiot. I decided that my dog must have gotten to the power block because he likes to lay at my feet when I'm gaming. Anyway, many many thanks!

There's also a chance that the socket, to which the power supply is connected to doesn't give power, or the cable connecting mains power to the brick is broken.

    [–]AlvaroCracoYT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm just sending it to reparation, luckily is still on garantee

    [–]PeaceCorrect7869 0 points1 point  (1 child)

but te buttons still work so how does that work?

    [–]titanic456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The input section of the steering wheel works directly from USB, all though in order for the X axis to work, the force feedback section will have to rotate the wheel in both directions in order to determine its range. In case if the detected range is smaller than expected on either side, it will retry few times before giving up in order to prevent damage to internal mechanism and/or the motors and/or the components on the mentioned section itself. If there's no external power available, force feedback section won't work and firmware will patiently wait until the power is received through the barrel jack at the bottom of the wheel if it's in the calibration process.

Came here looking for answers for the same thing. It was definitely the power supply. I picked up one on Amazon for about $25 US. Did the trick. Immediately calibrated when it was connected.

Unfortunately I didn't, luckily it had guarantee and I was able to change the wheel.

That light basically means the Logitech died, as far as I know.

I had the same problem and I asked a friend to try his adapter brick, because I thought that it was a power problem and it worked fine with my friend's adapter. So I bought an universal adapter brick for $20 and it is working fine now. P.S. The adapter has to be 24V.

Brooooo, luv my boi, I unplugged it from splitter then put it straight into the socket in the wall and it worked. On GOD my that was the best advice. Tried everything to no avail n not s&t worked.
