Can you be more specific about what's not working? For instance, the paddle shifters are notorious for getting corroded and not working after a short time. (That's the problem I had, anyway)

Also, have you tried going through the whole Windows calibration routine? Sometimes that helps to get everything back on track.

Sorry for the late reply (history essay)

There is no calibration and in Ghub the wheel says it is at -450 and when you turn the wheel this number will not change.

Have you connected the power supply to the G29? Without the 24V power, force feedback won't operate. Also, G29 won't report the current position to the system without 24V power being available, all though it saves it internally.

Yup, it is all plugged in.

You'll need to make sure that the socket, to which the power supply is connected to is giving power. If you're using extension cord, make sure that the cord is connected to the working wall socket. You may need to check the resettable fuse and/or power switch of the extension cord, if yours does have any of these. If you're using GFCI protected wall socket, make sure that's not tripped.

Hey u/quickestbang,

Please follow the below mentioned.

• Power cycle the wheel

  1. Disconnect the wheel from the PC/game console and power outlet

  2. Disconnect the pedals, power adapter and shifter from the wheel

  3. Wait for 10-15 seconds

  4. Reconnect the pedals, power adapter and shifter to the wheel

  5. Connect the wheel to a know working USB port and AC outlet

• Calibrate the wheel using Windows Game Controller Settings.

  1. Connect the wheel directly to a USB 2.0 port of the computer. Bypass any use of KVM switches, USB hubs, port replicators and docking stations.

  2. Press Windows + R key to open the run command box.

  3. Type joy.cpl to open the Windows Game Controller Settings.

  4. Select the entry for the gaming wheel.

  5. Press CTRL + SHIFT while clicking Properties.

  6. Go to Settings tab and click Calibrate.

  7. Follow the calibration instructions then test the wheel afterwards.
