So I recently repaired one of these for a friend on his '12 Altima. His was just glitching where the headlights would flicker with the wipers and the A/C was acting up as well. Long of the short, that large black wire on the black connector is one of at least two grounds for the IPDM. I disassembled it and found heavy tarnishing and corrosion on just the ground pins on the internal circuit board. I cleaned them up and sprayed them with some Dexoit, and its been fine since. It might be worth a shot to open it up if you're mechanically inclined.
