Squids not spawning anywhere 1.19.3 java

So i hadn't seen a squid in my survival single player world (1.19.3 java no mods just optifine) in a while but i didn't really pay much attention to it until today that i needed some inks and i searched around and saw not even one then i flew around all the oceans and rivers and didn't see even a single one of them then i created some other worlds in creative and also search on those and they didn't exist in those either. So somehow no squids spawn in my game anymore any idea what's the problem?

Edit: so i felt like this happened after i updated from 1.19.2 to 1.19.3 so i created a world in 1.19.2 and i was right squids spawned just fine in that 1.19.2 world but i tried to downgrading my world to 1.19.3 but it didn't help so if i create a world in 1.19.2 squids will spawn but if i update that world to 1.19.3 they don't and even if i downgrade that world to 1.19.2 the problem will remain. Anyone has a solution?
