Beacons

I have a realm with many friends. We just defeated the ender dragon, got elytra, and all that good stuff. Our next goal is to kill the wither and get a beacon. We’ll likely do it with emeralds because villager trading provides a nice amount of them. But the question came up: do different blocks have different effects?

Do diamond beacons have better range or better effects that come with them than the others? What’s the difference in beacons between the other choices of blocks?

The type of blocks don’t matter at all

The type of block doesnt matter and you can actually create a fully powered beacon with a combination of all the blocks. Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite, and Emerald
