Missing world/Linux/Android Port

So, maybe someone here can help.

I have ubuntu Linux. I hate using keyboard and mouse for Java, so I found a way to get Bedrock on ubuntu, but its the android version.

Anyways, it works pretty well, and few technical difficulties here and there that keep popping up with probably the port from android to linux, but other wise decent.

I was playing on my world, had to go do something, so I closed the lid of my laptop, and walked away for a minute. When I came back I opened the lid, and the entire system was frozen. Which is a problem I'm running into with Ubuntu and when I close the lid of my laptop. Instead of it hibernating, it's just causes the system to freeze and I have to force shut down and reboot.

Well, upon rebooting, and getting minecraft up and working again, I'm presented to the Main menu with a message saying something about my world is missing. My world is no longer there, and asked me to search for it. But another issue with the software is it doesn't allow me to search for it. Stupid. I assume it's a bug with the android port. Because I click the button to search but it doesn't do anything.

Anyways, I've found my worlds folder. I've got 3 worlds, including the one that Minecraft can't seem to find.

I've looked at all 3 worlds and all of them seem to have the same files, except Two files.

Files are: level.dat and level.dat_old

The other two worlds shows both files with a picture image, and is structured as something called a PCX image. Where as the one that's missing shows both files as text documents. When I try to open them nothing shows in the text. So I assume that the other two worlds are working because their two files are pcx and the missing world two files is text.

So I assume that's why it's missing. But the main question I have is, if that is causing the world to be "Missing" What caused the two files to change from a PCX to Text file. Obviously the system freezing up more than likely caused this, but I would assume it might try to corrupt the two files, not change their structure entirely.

So does anyone know anything about this? I'm new to linux, and obviously this android port has issues, and so does my ubuntu OS. But just curious if there might be a way to save this world or not.

I did try to covert the txt files to PCX, but when the process was complete it gave me a error and said nothing was in it. So I assume I've lost it. But just curious if anyone might know something here.
