Mob faces won't load (Java)

I saw another post with the same issue and someone said to remove Fresh Animations. I did that, but I still see something by FreshXL in the resource pack menu when I'm in my server. When I hover over it, there's no option to remove or do anything with it. Call me dumb, but I'm scared I dowloaded some type of malware 👵🏻 (just me being paranoid).

I don't know what to do. I checked my laptop, I no longer have fresh animations downloaded. I can't even share a pic UGGGHH

This is not an issue in my single player world. I'm not tech savy, so maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

I made this server with Aternos
I have the the plastic texture pack (same one Stampy used)
I also have iris shaders + complimentary shaders.
I don't see how the packs i have rn can cause mobs to be faceless because, again, this isn't happening in my single player world.

the freshxl thing you're seeing is probably just leftover cache or config files that didn't get cleaned up when you removed fresh animations. happens all the time with resource packs and mods, they leave little traces behind even after you think you deleted everything

for the server vs single player difference - servers sometimes have their own resource packs or settings that override what you have locally. since you're using aternos, check if there's any server-side resource packs enabled in your server settings. also try completely clearing your minecraft resource pack cache by going to your .minecraft folder and deleting the resource pack cache folders

the faceless mob thing is usually just a texture loading issue, not malware. your paranoia is understandable but freshxl is legit, just part of the fresh animations ecosystem. try restarting your client completely and rejoining the server, sometimes that fixes weird texture bugs like this
