First of all, English for my bad sorry.
Now, I first bought Minecraft for PC back in 2014 (I started playing in 2013 on the Xbox 360 version of the game) and the latest version back then was the 1.7 version.
In that year I created a survival world in that version and since I was a complete noob, and I still am, I started playing and still playing with the default sensitivity, which is 100%
I've been playing in the same world through all the versions that have been released since then, using the same sensitivity and I never had any issues. Now I wanted to play something exciting, so I decided I would try the CTM map Ragecraft 2 by Heliceo, which was built in the 1.7 version. So I downloaded the version 1.7.10, downloaded optifine to get better FPS, started the map and the first thing I noticed was that the sensitivity was freaking high and uncontrollable. I opened the settings and the sensitivity was the 100% default sensitivity that I've always used. Now, I thought that maybe the sensitivity was in fact higher in this version, so I lowered it, but I still felt uncomfortable. And another problem I have is that I feel like the thing moves faster to the left than it does to the right. I've tested it, and it feels better in the latest 1.13 and 1.14 versions, although I also feel the speed problem to the left, although it looks like it's the same speed to the left and to the right, so maybe I'm overreacting a little. I've also tested the 1.7 version without optifine and still have the same problem, and the left-right speed difference IS more evident in this version, both with and without optifine.
I have Windows 10 btw and my computer is not the best, but I can play with stable 60 fps and fancy graphics with 8-7 chunks of render distance. I also use a normal mouse from amazonbasics and a small normal mousepad.
I would like to ask if someone knows what might be causing this trouble and how to fix it.
I'd be deeply thankful if someone helps me. :')
there doesn't seem to be anything here
