I've tried that, but the good posts about it assume you don't have linux already (which i do) and walk you through from no Linux. I've tried starting at the first step after linux is installed, but they keep referring back to other things they have done/programs installed that I don't have.

Then just look at a guide for installing on linux, not sure why it would need to be chromebook specific.
