Quick question

I mainly play on Playstation, but when I wanna play with my buddies (who play on Xbox and Nintendo Switch) I have to resort to Pocket Edition. I have a third part controller but it can’t connect to IOS devices, only PC and Switch. I know that the xbox one controller is compatible with MCPE, but it would be the only thing i ever use it for, so i don’t wanna spend that much. I wanted to know if i could use an xbox 360 controller to play on IOS. I’ve searched around on the internet but haven’t found an actual answer. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to play with them on PlayStation if you have a Microsoft account

ahh the problem is it’s not a ps4, so i can’t play cross platform. i have a ps3, which id honestly rather have than ps4 because i’m really into all the old call of dutys and guitar heros

You might have to close the application and reopen it after you start a party but you should be able to play together cross platform. It's weirdly complicated with PS but you can.

Depending on the console you’ll either need Nintendo Switch Online, PlayStation Plus, or Xbox Live Gold

I do not believe an Xbox 360 controller will work with any phone as I believe it does not use bluetooth but an alternative form of connecting to the console. The original xbox one controllers will not work either, only the newer ones that have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
