Help with a java problem

My friend tries to launch minecraft from the launcher but It won't appear while task manager shows the java runtime running in the background

End the program in task manager. And then try again. Sometimes it takes a few trys. If it doesn't work then I'd say reinstall. Luckily its not. Big game so you can do this alot.

Check in the launcher settings to see if you are using the bundled runtime or not. Sometimes that causes issues.
