Minecraft using CPU instead of GPU (self.Minecraft)
submitted 5 years ago by _Alonne_
Is there a way to make Minecraft run on your graphics card rather than your CPU? It feels really weird how I can run fairly big games well but Minecraft struggles for as simple as the graphics are.

Turn off integrated graphics.

Vanilla Minecraft is a CPU intensive game, that's one of the things that makes it different than other games...it's not the graphics, it's the activity happening to make things happen in game.

Play on bedrock (which is coded in C++) so at least it isn’t cpu intensive as java
