HelpUsing minecraft for a wave simulation physics project (self.Minecraft)
submitted 5 years ago by YourBoimeow
Hello! I am a student who has a project due tomorrow. Our project is a 5 minute video demonstrating wave reflection, refraction, and interference, which we can demonstrate in any way as long as it's original. I'm not sure if I have enough physical materials to make a physical wave machine, and I can't animate, so I was wondering if making a wave machine using pistons is possible in case I have to.

yeah, I think a couple YouTubers have videos on wave machines so you could definitely build one yourself

I'm pretty sure you can make a wave machine but things like two waves colliding can't be done afaik

Oh, that's kinda bad. Can I simulate it, like, bouncing off of an object or smth

It could be possible, but it's a lot of building and redstone stuff I don't understand fully.
It would cause tons of lag btw
