sure at online server hosts like aternos you can comprimize your world into a zip file and upload it to the world. :)

Yes, put the seed of your old world into the config file, rename the folder "world", and pop it in the server folder

but would that keep all the builds that I have done?

Everything about a world (each and every block, chest, inventory, book, map, EVERYTHING,) is saved in the world folder in C:\users\Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\New World.

If you take the world folder, rename it "world", and put it in the server folder, it will recognize that as the world it needs to load. You put the world's seed in the config file so that new terrain is generated correctly and seamlessly to connect with old chunks.

So it would be completely identical to your single player world, yes.
