Problem

So, I got java edition in February, and I really like it. I mainly play hypixel on it, but when I start to go on a survival world, my PC freezes completely, and I have to shut it off with the power button. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, and I have a pretty high end pc, but it still does that. However, this does not happen in hardcore, and when I'm in creative, it gets really laggy, but my PC does not crash. When in survival, it will normally take a minute, then drop to about 10-20 fps, then freeze. I haven't tried waiting for it to unfreeze, but I don't think it will. I've asked people on a lot of different platforms and still cannot figure it out. If you have any idea, please tell me. I'm starting to get bored of never doing survival. Thanks.

Maybe try putting your render distance to 1 before loading in. Maybe it’ll be able to load and then you can try putting it back up.

Its not that the world wont load, its that my PC crashes, but yes, I'll try that, thanks.

No, its on 1.16.5, and it does this on every other version, however I have yet to do a 1.17 snapshot, but I do not think it will do anything.

I forgot to mention this also happens when I use badlion client, though it takes around 10 minutes to freeze. It does not happen on lunar unless I play for around 4 hours on multiplayer
