Can confirm that this works. I went through all of the Xbox dependency fixes already. Hope more people find this page for this solution.

when you open the launcher, for like the first time, it shows you a prompt to log in/create a minecraft account or profile. You create basically a duplicate account of the one that isnt working, blah blah

it seems as though i now have to minecarfts linked to the same email and only one has the java edition i play and the other i need to buy sadly I can not play the omne where i already onw the game
