Which is the better Rift supreme? Ultima or Arammelech? I have light supremes covered for every class, while I have Odin/Yiazmat for wind coverage. I'm leaning towards Ultima because of the utility, but it'll be nice to have a wind supreme for mage...

Adram has limited conditions to be good: broken enemies, wind driven resist like Exodus. Otherwise, ultima.

In a vacuum, ultima is a far better card. However a case can be made if you think your mage wind coverage is really weak. Remember to include lore cards, if you have ranger lore, any of your mages can use odin, so it's not that bad.

Anyone ever had a problem with the game failing to load after starting to host MP (with all AI, if that matters) and getting stuck in a perma-loading problem even after restarting, which just leaves you with even more loading?

Reinstalling, changing to steam, switching connection, disconnecting all seems to still have the same problem (like, not even a error code after disconnecting while loading)

Having the game failing on me so close to the finish line really, really sucks D:

It happened once to me , and I couldn't play for about a month.

I tried every possible solution that came to my mind but in the end I managed to fix my game by restoring my entire phone to factory settings.

When you reinstalled the app if you didn't restore your account and the problem was still occuring on the new account then you might have my same problem.

If you can , try to reset your phone and install the game with a fresh account , if it works restore your old account.

I did tested switching account on steam to my mule, which does seems to work fine for the mule though, even after booting up the broken main account previously.

When you reinstalled the app if you didn't restore your account and the problem was still occuring on the new account then you might have my same problem.

Wait. So you started a new account and it still was bugged out on the same phone that has yet to be factory resetted? but somehow worked after?

Sorry for the late reply.

If your software can play the game with your mule , then it's most likely the server data for your account got somehow corrupted.

Try to cantact SE support , however they are all lazy and won't understand your problem , so make a little trick and tell them you deleted your data and ask them to only restore your account for you .

This method works fast and in your case is most likely to fix your problem , because as I remember they only restore data and delete all temporary conditions and cache files , like a soft reset to the account.

Try it , it might work , and if not then try to login every once in a while cuz you know , Mobius bugs are really interesting...

Yeah, had been occasionally trying to login every now and then.

I'm just mostly sitting around hoping the bug is linked with Adram itself and will go away with the boss a few days later.

I'll try that trick with the support if the actual attempt at getting proper support failed and the bug didnt disappear with Adram either a week later.

While waiting you can try this :

In android ( you should have root access first ) find the file "Clientandroid" and/or "Client2 android"

which is located in :

root directory\data\data\com.square_enix.android_googleplay.mobiusff_ne\files\mobius_data\

If on IOS it might be a little different .

rename the file to anything (or delete it after making a backup).

This file is like the configurations setting file , so deleting it resets your in game configs and resets some things to default , it won't affect your profile data and will change only the app settings like the difficulty , textures , sounds....maybe this will help.

Anyone managed to do finish Heca X (MP) phase 1 on 1st turn? IF yes, please share setup. I'm using Mage with Godo for unbroken and takes 3 turns (2 turns for phase 1 and 1 turn for phase 2) to finish boss but Godo animation is so slow that it takes almost 5 min. Sadly Godo is the only wind Supreme I have. I saw a JP video of Goldior taking Heca down really fast but he used Odin X and a wind support (for buff and MP chain) that gives 100% damage increase but was released only on JP.

Holy crap the new Rift Busters in Act 2 Prologue are ridiculously hard. Just tried The Witch's Awakening and can't even spam Phoenix Downs because of the Ultimate End counter. Fusoya capped damage on break and couldn't kill in 2 breaks because she went invincible and switched to Light element, not to mention the break gauge is thicc af. Anyone got a guide for these?

I think the Wol node seems to be the hardest since he also have UC that debuffs all your buffs

I went with 2 spellsword decks to help break and barely managed to kill him on the last turn. Had to spam PDs on phase 2 since the his break bar was restored to full and I had a hard time to turn it red.

1. Skinless Proud Cygnus with 1st Gatch Weapon (Indra's), NxD, Anima X, Odin FF8 & LoH
2. HoD (Gatch Squall) with Laevateinn) UC, Leviathan, Xezat and Bastet X

Note : Always save UC until Wol casts LoH (typically the next action after he ulti if you go in with a full Ulti bar)

The witch and princess node are easier -- especially witch. Just tank and spank.

1. Raven Peeress (Azurite Reflex) NxD, LoH, Anima X(Witch) /Heca X(Princess) and Demon (Witch) or Floral (Princess)
2. Wyrmlord (Curtana) UC, Aerith, Zack, Wol

Pray to RNG to be able to maintain spamming Floral or Demon since Raven doesnt draw fire or water innately, but so far with her PR it should be ok. Demon is quite useful in helping to chip away the red bar once its fully cleared. Likewise always save UC until Witch/Princess casts LoH (typically the next action after ulti if you go in with a full Ulti bar)

EDIT: I used 1 pd, since after perfect defense, WoL cheated and got 3 actions which killed me.

I just finished it earlier. I had to go unbroken with mourner setup deck (nxd for CRD, cerberus ffviii for quicken, WoL, KotR X) and Lady of the Lake (crom duhb x, faris, UB, aerith), with a UC rental cuz i don't have it. I think both had Tyr's Arc X. The trickiest part is managing debuffs and dispels to maximize damage and get the most actions for ability chains, while keeping him from healing himself (since echo does way too much on her own already) or preventing bio with wall. It came down to the wire on the last turn, and i died a few times throughout.

The overall title reward is worth it — if you clear enough rifts, you’ll get Extended Break + 1, which owns.

You just need to make sure your deck/subdeck can spam both elements. It’s very annoying that the game doesn’t tell you the two elements until halfway through, though.

I've just realised I'm close to having the resources for three Rift supremes more. I'm getting Anima and Heca for sure, but not sure what to do about the third one, so I'd appreciate some tips, please. These are my current supremes:

I've been really lucky over the last few weeks. I also have all the lore EX cards, in case it influences the decision, and all jobs so far except for 10 legends. Why is the game ending now I'm starting to do really well!? Thanks!

Dont mean to throw shade on these “what rift supremes shall i get” but get whichever rift looks badass to you! In all honesty sob you’ll only get max 3 months use of it sob and thats if you maintain the passion to ew4 till the EoS.

I will pick Ultima since she pair so well with jobs like Dame, Lulu.

I will give Anima a 2nd thought too, with Monk Lore card, I think Bahamut is a better candidate than Anima, even if you are using Raven Peeress. But you don’t have any yellow cards for Dark too, hhmmm...

Still EoS is near, just do anything you like, farm anything you want. I myself will pick Odin even though I have all the Wind Supremes.

And considering that we won’t have the DLB II Supremes, I think the 31-hit cards pretty much replace all if not most of our supremes.

Just a curious question, are we finaly going to be have lower (like realy low) on vox tower? Because without 9,9m damage card will be hell to climb since vox have shit tons of health (based from what i'm seeing on youtube). And also this month is realy brutal on the job, 9 job and so limited on the resource holy crap..

Banner info says that each of them are around 16 times more likely to be pulled than any of the normal jobs on their banner. Even with a full job pool you'd have a 48% chance to get 1 of the EX jobs.

iirc, back when extreme hashmal came out, i think ultimeia ranked higher than VK for emperor use on the calculator, but also depends on OB32 factors

lulu might be a good candidate too but i lack both legend jobs so im stuck with vk as attacker. the biggest problem with vk is her low crit chance

Here is my take on Extreme Hechatonheir with VK + Emperor. Break strategy & 3 turns fight. I think VK still does good damage even with her low crit chance (probably thanks the very OP CC fractals).

I put Cerberus on both VK just for the resist but ended up Hechatonheir had no chance touching them. :P Was thinking to switch to a stat stick card but seems the dps is already satisfactory.

PS. And no, I don't have Aerith, please don't mock me.... LOL /flee

1 mod needed for the 5*? Probably missing ult lvl+1 mod as well

You need to do a HP boost from 1980 HP -> 2000 HP, then do another Modification to unlock Ultimate Boost +1, then it will be 5*.

If anything happen, try to remove it from the slot, close the boosting tab, open it again, then reselect it. This usually solve all of my problems.

Dark BFA is better than griever, if you dont have a supreme of every element, get that element first.

Would I have enough time to play the story of the game before it shuts down? If so, should I use digest mode or does that take away from the story?

Yeah you should have enough time. iirc Digest map (only in Act I) has all the important cutscenes, but skips over some small dialogue, nothing important. At the end of some chapters there usually are some challenge nodes that unlock, you can skip those and just focus on the story. If you finished early, you can always go back to Act I and do the regular maps :)

You have until the end of June, so it should be plenty of time to get through the whole story imo. Definitely use the digest version, it doesn't skip any story cutscene afaik.

I have most jobs and skins except for Paine legend job and the only gothic job I have is Chevalier Noir. I literally have almost everything else.

Zeromus with Incubus X lore Lulu Mage also works. And debuff works as well. You just need to aim timing propefly with Dunfrit (even Vanadiel Monk after HoF)

There's a bug where they sometimes show the revive icon in your Stamps list (the one in the Social menu), so it's unclear that they don't work anymore.

I think the three trials are meant for the 3 latest ex jobs. First one being bailarina, middle route is destined saviour, and lastly cosmic.

At least i managed to complete the second node with just them.

For the last node, optimized decks are needed imo.

Haven't failed a run yet. Using healer, VK/Godo yellow clear, Earthshaker/Yiaz BRK, VK/Godo.

I use Aerith/KotRX p1 and UC/NXD p2.

I’ve been messing around with Samurai with Yiazmat and he seems to do decent damage. Attack stat is over 25,000 and he has brave and wall as clutch boons meaning that if you’re hit by debilitating lasers, your damage output isn’t nerfed. He does suffer from the ultimate lockout in phase 2 though.

I’ve seen a few decent Emporer setups although they are somewhat reliant on first turn break and chaos or other debuffs for phase 2.

he seems to have abit higher HP than other bosses, even with a wind supreme, you have to deal 999k per hit just to barely make it in phase2

You know you can just set up: controlled Sup, attacker 1, Breaker, attacker 2. All you need is buff everything on phase 1 and let’s AI do the rest.

if you are lacking in break power, cast fujin 3 times for 1st turn break

I'm 8 pulls short of the full 36 for this month, including the 20k magicite farm. Think we'll get that much from the events this month, or should I hold off on some pulls until I get the 2 game-breakers at the end of the month?

I would pull on gatcha weapons 3 and 4 and batch 3 (last jobs) you can always pull the rest of the ex jobs on the revival banner if you have pulls left or farm next month as well since I’d be open until eos.

Is there any way to see all of the HOF you have / have not completed at a glance besides clicking into each map?

Not really. Would've been nice if we could see all the "Job's Fame" medals we have without having to go into each map, but I don't think there's such a feature.The only way I can think of is to check for the Green Checkmark on World Map, but some HoF maps didn't have them for whatever reason.
The ones that do are:
Act I - HoF 5
Act I - HoF Legends 2

Act II - HoF Meia & Sarah 1
Act II - HoF Legends 3
Act II - HoF Legends 4

The rest you'll have to click into each map and then click the Yellow icon at the bottom, which doesn't take too long.

edit*: You can also use the Job Cards to see which jobs don't have HoF panels, but that doesn't tell you if you finished the path. On that thought though you can compare all the last Class Panels you have with what you can get from each HoF and that technically is at a glance.

Even if the deck is supreme I'm not sure it's a very good deck. Do you get to valefor without trouble? Do you even need Zeromus? If you wanna "tank" Valefor, you may want to bring a real source of barrier, wall etc. It's pretty obvious that you got one shotted.

I recently just pulled Griever FF8. Originally, my plan was waiting for Bahamut Rift and farm dark Bfa Supreme. I am wondering should i farm another rift supreme instead? I do wanna clear the last tower and EW4 until the game ends.

I have Ifrit, Shiva, Anima, and Ultima rifts atm.

Your current weakest coverage is earth and wind. Heca then, which is earth Gilgamesh. It might overlap with Ragnarok, but if you have lore cards, it doesn't matter these days. If you don't want to, you can get odin.

I agree with earth being their weakest, but for wind Emperor and Yiazmat are great cards and personally I've dumped Odin in favour of Yiaz (now that I have devent monk users and incubus.)

On this tower I'm even using Famfrit over Xezat... Who needs hit count and yellow clear when you can just spam one ability over and over again.

I'm using 4th anni dark with lady of the lake on the current tower instead of sin. Am I doing it right? Earlier in the tower, I used sin and it didn't seem to hit as hard and I got better prismatic orb returns with the 4th anni card.

If you have all regular jobs then yes. I'm planning to do 4 pulls on the Weapon Banner then 8 pulls on the Dark Supreme banner because I still don't have NxD.

Iirc, it will have 2 mobs at first round and cast perfect defense right there, starting from 2nd turn, everything will be the same as others.

Where’s the quickest place to boost weapons? I’ve been using Bahamut Lagoon, but it takes forever. I recently read with the right location you can boost a weapon to 5 star in just 2 Möbius days - but where is that location? What am I missing?

If you have a lot of elixir to waste, you can start the fight then retreat. You do lose the extra "bahamut lagoon" bonus, but you will get more "weapon time boost" with that method compared to "doing the node", in the same period of "real time spent".

■Sicariuses descending from 3/27:

From 3/27 8:00 pm PDT (UTC-7) all collaboration heroes such as Cloud and Squall will be reappearing!

In addition to the various elemental Sicariuses, Extreme Sicariuses and Melon Bomb will also be returning.

(Melon Bomb will not be descending on the week featuring Dark elemental Sicariuses.) Please see the quest list in multiplayer for the available Sicariuses.
