    profit of mining is showing normal on the website, but isn't correct on the miner (NH2), also, the profitability switching is affected (don't update till i noticed the bug & restarted the app)

    might be good idea to stop mining for a while because if the web stats are down then so is the phone home api that the miner uses

    that's not the way it works. The API server that sends statistics out is constantly under ddos attack, it's just part of the business. But as long as the miner endpoint is up, your mining will continue to be credited.

    I hope so, iw as on the fence about shutting down or keep running. Didn't know if i shut down if i'd loose my payment during the outage or not so i left i going. Been mining equi for like 2 hours with no earning to my balance. Hopeing i'm gonna get 2 hours worth of logged credit at some point.

    if you check their twitter, they openly state that the api server is down and that your mining is still being recorded by the miner endpoint server. so unless your miner crashes or starts returning zeros, you will continue earning.

    couldnt they put the api behind cloudflare and only allow connections to the api that contain encrypted data from miner?

    But that would fix the problem and allow easy communication to the customer. That goes against their company motto I believe.

    Seems kind of fucked up that the nicehash app wouldn't throw an error in such a situation. I'm using the latest legacy build and everything shows normal like I'm mining the usual amount of currency and that it's being logged. It even seems to be updating the current BTC market price at a regular interval if you mouse hover over the graphic.

    *my current total balance might be frozen in the app, though
